## Reducing energy costs and CO2

In a market with ever increasing energy prices and stricter requirements for CO2 emissions, it is important for us to look for and emphasize other ways to recover energy from flue gases, steam and other processes that are generated during combustion. Therefore, we consider heat recovery to be economically advantageous in terms of saving and utilising energy from heat generating processes that would otherwise escape through the flue and chimney directly into the atmosphere.  
The recovered heat can be used for heating buildings, domestic water or for other purposes in production areas. Or, if there is an option, return the energy to the provider.

## Reduction of fuel consumption

The energy loss from flue gas or other thermal process is typically around 15 – 20%. With an exodraft heat recovery system, up to 95% of the heat can be recovered. In other words, there is a potential for a reduction in fuel consumption of up to 12 – 16% and a reduction in CO2 emissions.
